Understanding Metrc Packages
Packages can be created from batches of Immature plants, Harvest batches, or through repackaging. Any amount of cannabis or cannabis-infused product designated for sale, processing, or transfer must be packaged into one or more containers. Each container is assigned a unique identifier package tag, generated within the Metrc system. Please note that not all options are available for your state and/or facility type.
